Darcy is an Alabama based artist living just south of Birmingham. She was born and raised in the small town of Saint Marys, Pennsylvania where she gained a love of being creative in her high school art classes. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Design from Philadelphia University and enjoyed using her creative talents for several years as a designer in the apparel industry. Now she applies her creativity to painting. She is known for her use of brilliant colors and textures as well as her animal art and pet portraits. She works mainly in acrylic on canvas and is inspired greatly by nature and beautiful living creatures. 

Darcy currently works as a self employed artist and art instructor. She teaches painting classes at retirement homes in her community as well as children’s art programs.

Darcy is happily married with four beautiful and active children. She balances her time and continues to pursue her passion for art and encouraging others in their creativity.
